Standings
The Hound Trailing season runs from April to October with hounds earning awarded positions in the Top 6 finishes. Hounds with the most wins are crowned the champion.During the season the hounds that compete in the Senior Hounds and the Open Pups are awarded tickets for placing in the top six for each trail. The hound with the most number of first placed tickets at the end of the season is crowned the Champion.
During the season the points competition is calculated by awarding hounds points depending on the finishing position in the top six of each trail. I.e. the hound that finishes 1st is awarded 6pts, 2nd is awarded 5pts, etc… At the end of the season the hound with the most points is crowned the Points Champion.
The points championship is awarded to; Senior Maidens, Puppy Maidens, Open Maiden, Open Restricted, Open Non-Winnners and Veterans.
