Report’ The third of the Kirkbride meetings and the we have had ten different winners. Today the senior trail went to runaway winner JLS who was never headed , he and Jazz Singer had a minutes lead at halfway and kept up their lead to the finish , Persian Sky proving best of the rest.
In the juniors Canny Mover just held on from Misha with the remaining ticketing hounds in close contention, the favourite Margaret Rose back in sixth but only beaten a couple of lengths (see Video )
Willow Bay just kept Grange Music at bay in the maidens and in similar fashion in the last Paloma Faith held off Try Again.
Poor ‘Tina’ came in for some stick when she caught the wrong hound – well you have my sympathy for as the old saying goes ‘it was s*** up’ .
