Report  A nice evening in Potter’s park overlooking Ennerdale Water  and surrounding fells. The seniors decided that climbing up the trod, ie Kirkland finish in reverse,;was the right way , well it wasn’t and the hounds that were wrong would make up the lost ground. was the general opinion “in the ring”. after halfway the field was well strung out , Crazy and Huntsman’s Novice , Thorn dancer were prominent  and it was Crazy that prevailed from Thorn Dancer and Kinniside meg.

A small field for the juniors and in this race the cows had a major say in matters ; three of the pups didn’t fancy running the gauntlet and this left Acorn with a sizeable lead and despite a swollen joint won easily..

The non- winners and a “ nip and tuck” finish saw ” Jiggly puff ” holding off the “Black and Tan” Zulu. and the final event was a 14 runner plus  two – Eskdale versus The Napiers, Eskdale 1,3,5 Napiers 2,4.6, score 12-9.

“Jiggly Puff”! ,Where did that name originate Nicola? Work it out , Baz , a Jiggly and a Puff !. Ha Ha  , How about a pokemon character
