Report. As you have probable realised by looking at the all in runners that there was a problem with the juniors, as it was 6 runners came back after three minutes and of those who went 7 hounds had a good lead. They included the prolific General James who won easily from Eclipse.
The night started fine and ended up with visibility down to 50 yards. At the first road in the seniors Endure was already well behind but at the second crossing of the same road Debra and Dawn had a good lead with the rest closely bunched.
The reason ,and it was all to clear, as the hounds went up the Ward Hall finish, only to stop and turn, wondering whether it was Bridekirk or Ward Hall, well if they used their noses they would have known it was the ‘Moor’ and that applied to a number of them on the finish as they bore left.
In the end Bracelet got the race from the close up Dawn and the ticketing hounds also in close proximity.
That leaves the open maidens and the even money jolly had a race on her hands pressed on all sides including two old timers in Taggert and Da Look, but she held on for a win.
And the all in run in thick mist was won by Capetown from another veteran Artisan.
