Report:  Only four for the seniors nevertheless  there was controversy when Queen finished in the wrong field , although only feet from the judge ,she was not judged and only three , led by “Shadow” were judged. After an area meeting Queen was re-instated in second position, which , morally was where she finished, but rules are rules and as the saying goes they are meant to be broken.

Acorn took another step towards the championship with a hard fought win ,coming onto the final two fields five of the six had a winning chance, but then that whistle started to blow.

The other three trails also had a familiar look about them and could have gone to anyone of, at least five of the runners/

Summary- All five favourites won and did the lone bookie go home winning, well she had £70 of my pension and like Jimmy batty she was nearly all-round in most. Included in these trails was a winning double for Joanne and Buzz with two thorns, they were in my side all day.

Ps for the public “all-Round” means cannot lose in the case of “Batty” it means all-round..
