You can’t beat a fine days trailing in a remote valley in the Lake District.
Miterdale home to Low Place farm and the fourth meeting at this venue.
And once more it was treble day for the Bland’s Patterdale kennel.
Three favourites out of four obliged,the odd one out being the senior winner
Huntsman’s Quantum ,a comfortable win over Kirkhead Rebel took him to joint leader of the championship.
The first senior maiden trail of the season and the first hound to lose her maiden status was Miterdale Honesty,another comfortable winner over a bunched finish for the ticketing hounds.
The juniors, and showing the nine others a clean pair of heels was the “ red’un “
Huntsman’s Rebel, win number three,and another “ Midnight Rose” according to Jim Bob Batty.
The restricted trail and another easy win for another Huntsman, this time former puppy champion ,now five year old , Huntsman’s Nimrod.
