Report . The first of many at low Place and the first trail was claimed by Miterdale Shadow who beat the “jolly  Miterdale    Steel by a couple of lengths. “Shadow” went unbacked, all the money was directed at steel.

The juniors, as  is often the case  ,  failed to make the climb, got to low  the consequence being that five   pups came well clear , Acorn relished the downhill   finish and easily beat  Kinniside Sam  , And the final race by the rivers of miterdale came Babylon in front of  Wild Gypsy , spurred on no doubt by the late Town crier Mike Wilding.
