Report’  What a nice way to spend an Easter Monday, far from the maddening crowd, tucked away up the vale of Miterdale surrounded by 80 hounds and umpteen children, bliss !!!!.

Here/s one for the plebs if the short trails had all run together would the winners and some placed hounds finished within half a minute of each other.

In the senior trail former puppy champ Miterdale Shadow went to the top of the championship with win number three , he was well clear of “Benny” aka cuckoo Lane ,who is also on three wins for the season.

In the pup trail course winner Acorn had a handy lead on the descent  to low Place but Saturday’s winner  Maggies Dream possessed a stronger finish and won by length.and in the maiden trail another of Saturday’s winners O’l Blue eyes came close only to be beaten by a ” southerner ” Kaiser Sosa.

Stand by came from the back to win the restricted trail and in the veterans another former champ Overwater Arnie recorded the fastest time when he outpointed Tommy’s legacy and deny the Graham kennel a double and ” Grace followed Tommy and Arnie.
