Report. Kirkstone, one of the few venues left where hounds find underfoot conditions obliging, and as for minimum distance for the short trails which was advertised , on consulting the met office and was told there was every chance of rain on the summit of Kirkstone, it was decided to run the normal trails which the seniors completed in normal time but the short trails took considerable longer than usual. Overwater Seth beating the clock with 13 seconds to spare beating Best Mate by 10 yards and the non – winners were led in by Huntsman’s Novice who won rather easily in a time faster than the pups. The final event, the veterans ran the opening section in the average time of five minutes , three minutes faster than the previous two trails, you cant beat knowledge, and here Aspire won with plenty to spare over Grange Music,
