Report. Out on the road for the seniors, who made an excellent job of the new trail , the only setback was the early demise of Huntsman’s Major.last seasons puppy runner-up, he went as far as the “woodcorner” and was later recovered by his owner, meanwhile local hound Step-Up beat Eclipse and General James.

The huntsman’s kennel had better fortune in the pups when Huntsman’s Nimrod, who was a course winner , held of the challenge of John and Clare Crone’s Craftsman, these two had a nice lead over babycham in third.

John Milburn had a welcome win in the maiden trail ,taking advantage of a mistake by the favourite  Huntsman’s Magician,  Frankel won and in doing so finished his open maiden career.

The all-in and a 123 for the Westmorland Area. Kennel mates Buble and Paloma Faith with Arizona in third.
