Report.  The hot weather took it’s toll and as of writing this, Huntsman’s Nimrod is still missing. Only three seniors, and this was reduced to two when Hawkswood returned to the start, and Christmas came early for the backers of Jenny’s liberally priced at 4/6, she won by the proverbial mile and that’s what Miterdale Spirit should have won by in the pups but as they say it’s not over until” the fat lady sings ” and as Spirit wavered on the punishing finish then “Benny” took full advantage  and when Spirit ran wide after jumping the last wall Cuckoo Lane pounced and notched up win number six. The next three finishes were not seen due to “rounding up” and thanks to Richard who brought six pups in the back of his van.

And a first for Jimmy Batty , first mention this season, as Ladybird’s first run of the season and she finished third, No! she finished last!, anyway she ran well considering both her and her owner have eaten all the pies .
