Helton on Saturday ,first Carlisle and Penrith area trail of the season.125 hounds
Took part and the Senior trail ended with a head victory for Grange based Kirkhead Rebel over Miterdale Dusk,these two had a good lead over third placed Huntsman’s Que.
The 2nd senior maiden of the 2022 season went to Eleanor’s lass in front of Thorn Pop. Huntsman’s rebel won its fifth race of the season beating kennel mate Huntsman’s Rally by 5 yards. This was David Bowies contribution to hound trailing.. rebel rebel. The first open non winners of the season went to another red’un Thorn Lightening who won in a photo finish with the gambled on Persian Gold with the ticketing hound close behind. The final race was won by Cautious, Stephen Riley hound won easily from young Harry and was two minutes faster than the previous trails.
