The “R” team was in form once again at Dearham when claiming four tickets in the pup trail – Rhythm came from fourth position to take the trail by three lengths from Ranger;earlier in the seniors Washington  had led for most of the trail and although finishing tired he had plenty to spare over Bronco.

The pup Meadow Spot registered her first win of the season, the sister of Best Mate and Cuckoo Lane finished well to beat a Hooligan and a Tramp.
