Report. Firstly there is only one timekeeper, the official one !. Mind you the pups seem to take a long time and as for the favourite , well! it was rubbed down , bedded down before any other showed on the finish, only it finished at the start. Take nothing away from ” Bully” as Baba O’ Riley scored win number two over the only other open winner in the field Babylon.
In the seniors it was hard work and Jenny’s Aura never got past Potter’s Park ( 8 minutes) and Tommy’s Legacy , who at half -way was a distant fourth, won very easily from Persian Prince who is back with Mike Watson.
The open maidens and a three hound finish as Paddywack, Homeward Dude tried to Escape. They finished in that order Paddywack ( give him a bone) won in a photo for David Crowe and kennel hands John and Diane Bromage)
