First a report.

As Chair of the HTA , I take it upon myself to try to help and sort out situations as they occur,

last night , due to no fault of  his own the puppy trail was laid  differently to the seniors consequently the barrier , tape and the  judging position should have been  altered.

This was brought to the attention of the area committee by myself, we wont go into the reply !. But the outcome was that nothing was changed,- the question now?  was the placing of hounds in the last two races correct, ? it might well be correct but the fact that both judge and  catchers being badly placed , asks the Question.. Was It Correct and why wasn’t action taken.?

Report : The Huntsman’s /Jenny bandwagon rolls on and on , Nimrod spearheading the senior battle with Major, although having a hurry on look at  Major on the finish, these two had poached a lead before showing on the long uphill climb and finishing in third – ladybird, who has cost his owner a bob or two lately in the maiden class ( dead rag Jimmy ?)., Somebody remarked she’s driving her owner Batty !.

We move on to the pups and poppy ( jenny’s oracle ) obliged for her followers with a victory over the lightly raced Overwater Sully and  Carlisle based Denton Bilbao took the restricted event and therefore completed his allowance. In the veterans explore finished like a\ two year old beating the points favourite  Thorn Fire.
