Four hound trails attracting 46 runners, one bookie , but an enthusiastic audience and once more in true British fashion a round of applause for the last to finish.

The three short trails were separated by only 7 seconds where the two brothers (hounds) provided another exciting finish, Benny bossing Blaze in the final strides to register win number 13 for Cuckoo Lane equal second in the puppy championship with Best Mate. In the senior event Lone Rebel and Explore had a good lead at halfway but on the finish it was last seasons puppy champ Miterdale Shadow who held on to a diminishing lead from Wild Gypsy.

The other two events went to Cleator Moor’s  Escape and the local Casanova ( whoever that is )
